Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Permanent)

Location: Ashford Surrey

Salary: £27000 – £28,000 DOE

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

• 2 x Early: 5:00am – 5:00pm
• 2 x Late: 9:00am – 9:00pm

Overview

We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Ashford on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, varied role involving goods handling, order fulfilment, and general warehouse duties within a busy logistics environment.

Key Duties

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles, checking goods against delivery paperwork
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock records and labelling
• Support general warehouse operations including stock control and organisation
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues
• Follow all health & safety procedures and safe manual handling practices

What We’re Looking For

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• 5-year checkable work history
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
