Residential Conveyancer

Location: Leeds

Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join our growing Conveyancing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable fee earner looking to manage their own caseload from instruction through to post-completion within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Reporting directly to the Head of Conveyancing, you will work alongside a dedicated team consisting of a fee earner and two assistants, handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
  • Conducting title checks and reviewing searches
  • Handling sales, purchases, transfers, remortgages, and related matters
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
  • Providing excellent client care throughout the transaction process
  • Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and compliantly

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) preferred
  • Strong non-qualified candidates with substantial conveyancing experience will also be considered
  • Proven ability to manage files independently from inception to completion
  • Solid understanding of title checking and residential conveyancing procedures
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
