Physiotherapist (Band 6 equivalent)

Location: Taverham, Norfolk (NR8 area)
Position Type: Long-term Temporary
Hours: 2–4 days per week
Hourly Rate: £26.76 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to support a brain injury unit within a care home setting. This role focuses on rehabilitation following stroke and acquired brain injury, working closely with residents and care staff to improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes for residents with brain injuries and post-stroke conditions
• Develop and oversee exercise plans to support recovery and mobility
• Complete functional and shower assessments
• Attend and support residents with appointments as required
• Provide guidance and training to care staff to support ongoing therapy plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a qualified Physiotherapist
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, stroke, or brain injury (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• HCPC registration
