Field Service Engineer:(Mechanical Bias but with Electrical knowledge)

Location: UK Field-Based (Primarily Sheffield to Northeast)
Salary: £20ph (flexible DOE) Overtime Available, Company Van, Door-to-door pay

Role Overview

We are a well-established engineering business with over 30 years' experience, now looking to strengthen our team with a Field Service Engineer. With a growing workload and a mix of experienced engineers and apprentices, this is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team with long-term stability and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Field-based, working independently at customer sites
• Installation, servicing, preventative maintenance & breakdown support
• Working on a wide range of machine tools: milling machines, lathes, borers, saws, and fabrication equipment
• Typically,1 job per day (or longer depending on scope)
• Covering mainly Sheffield to the North East, with occasional UK-wide travel

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical background withcomfortableelectrical knowledge
• Experience withmachine tools / metal cutting machinery
• Able to work independently and represent the company professionally
• Competent, reliable, and safety-conscious
• Full UK driving licence
