The Role

Reporting to the Central Treasurer, the Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting in line with statutory and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading month-end and year-end close processes
• Producing financial reports in line with UK GAAP / FRS 102
• Managing balance sheet integrity and internal controls
• Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
• Acting as the main contact for external audit
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
• Managing and developing the Accounts team

Candidate Profile

• AAT qualified or above (or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Proven experience in financial reporting and audit
• Experience managing month-end and year-end processes
• Strong understanding of AP/AR and payroll
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management ability
