HIGH LEVEL ORDER PICKER (HLOP) WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – ERDINGTON

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a High Level Order Picker (HLOP) Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Erdington, Birmingham on a full-time temporary to permanent basis.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HLOP Operator, High Level Order Picker, Warehouse Operative, Quality Control Operative, RDT Scanner Operator or Picker/Packer.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00am – 04:00pm

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a High Level Order Picker (HLOP) Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Completing quality and stock checks across the contract
• Checking incoming stock deliveries
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Producing reports accurately
• Labelling products and stock
• Using RDT scanners efficiently on a regular basis
• Reporting any damages or issues to supervisors
• Packing stock safely and accurately
• Interacting professionally with warehouse staff and customers
• Completing high level order picking using a HLOP truck

Essential Skills

To be successful as a High Level Order Picker (HLOP) Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A good level of spoken and written English
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience using RDT scanners
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• A strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Confidence working at height

Desirable Experience

• Previous HLOP or High Level Order Picker experience
• Previous quality control or stock checking experience
• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
