The Role
Working closely with managers and directors, you’ll become a key part of the Accounts team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients while helping junior staff develop. This is a broad role with plenty of client interaction and responsibility.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing year-end accounts for a range of owner-managed businesses
Calculating corporation tax and personal tax liabilities
Supporting clients with accounting processes and day-to-day queries
Building long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted contact
Working collaboratively with other departments across the firm
Coaching and developing junior members of the team
Supporting wider advisory conversations where appropriate
What They’re Looking For
ACA / ACCA qualified
Strong background within accountancy practice
Experience working with owner-managed businesses
Confident dealing directly with clients
Tech-savvy mindset (knowledge of CCH beneficial)
Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and building relationships
