Lead Business Development Manager (M/F)

Since 1996, Upergy has been constantly evolving to transform the energy sector, and today we are offering you the opportunity to contribute to our projects as Lead Business Development Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract at our site in Solihull.

Under the supervision of Sales Director, you will work in Collaboration within the commercial department and you will be in charge of:

  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, aligning with long-term goals.
  • Qualifying, managing, and converting inbound leads to drive sales, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborating with marketing to design and execute lead-generation campaigns.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, optimizing conversion rates, monitoring KPIs, and implementing action plans.
  • Staying informed on market trends, products, and competitors, providing strategic insights to clients and teams.
  • Leading and mentoring junior sales team members to boost performance and growth.
  • Negotiating and managing complex contracts and partnerships, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
  • Driving continuous improvement in sales processes for better efficiency and goal alignment.
  • Coordinating across departments to ensure top-tier customer service and collaboration
  • Generating regular commercial activity reports to track performance and inform strategy.

  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding and developing teams, driving performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement..
  • Ability to build rapport and influence senior external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of making data-driven decisions and evaluating market trends to shape business strategy.
  • Autonomous decision-maker with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to create tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Attention to detail in administrative tasks and project management.
  • Strong communication skills and effective team collaboration.
