Finance Director

Page Group

We are looking for an exceptional operational Finance Director to be the commercial and financial right hand to the Managing Director as the business executes an ambitious growth plan - launching a significant new product line, building new legal entities, and expanding into new overseas territories.

Client Details

The business is a £10million revenue PE-backed manufacturer and supplier (B2B and B2C) of beauty and healthcare products, a true market leader in their niche market. They are entering a significant growth phase - launching new products, expanding internationally and building a meaningful R&D pipeline.

Description

* Partner with the MD on commercial decision-making and strategic planning.

* Drive operational efficiency across supply chain, fulfilment and overhead base.

* Lead financial modelling for new product initiatives.

* Oversee pricing strategy and margin management across all channels.

* Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

* Manage cash flow, working capital and banking relationships.

* Lead a small, high calibre finance team - Financial Controller, Management Accountant and FP&A Analyst.

* Support the PE investor with financial reporting and KPI tracking.

* Lead establishment of new overseas legal entities.

* Support any future M&A, due diligence or exit preparation.

Profile

Applicants for this Finance Director should meet the following criteria:

  • Operational mindset - as comfortable in operations as in finance, a genuine no.2 in the business.
  • SME / scale-up background - used to building and refining small, high calibre finance functions.
  • Experience of working in a PE-backed environment, comfortable with investor reporting cadence and value creation plan ownership.
  • ACA qualified, with Big Four or mid-tier training preferred.
  • Consumer brand experience, understanding the customer purchase journey.
  • International exposure - awareness of multi-entity, multi-currency.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Offer

  • A competitive basic salary package of £90,000 to £110,000 per annum.
  • Bonus structure to 25%, based on business and individual objectives.
  • Management Incentive Plan to reward at exit.
  • Private medical cover for self and family.
  • A range of other company benefits via the business's Perkbox.
  • A collaborative and professional working environment across sites in both Manchester and Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an already-impressive organisation at a pivotal moment of their journey, to play a key role in the business's journey to exit - which the Finance Director will lead together with the MD and investors.
