Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a PE backed business in the search for a Head of M&A as they embark on the next phase of expansion through a major buy-&-build strategy.

As a result, they are now seeking an exceptional Head of M&A to play a pivotal role and spearhead their strategic growth initiatives.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the deal lifecycle - driving acquisitions, partnerships, and international expansion within a well-funded platform with a clear growth plan through to 2030 and beyond.

The Role
• Lead end-to-end M&A transactions from origination to completion
• Build and manage a high-quality UK and international deal pipeline
• Oversee due diligence, financial modelling, and deal structuring
• Partner closely with Executives, Investors, and Advisers
• Support international market entry and expansion initiatives
• Lead and develop a high-performing, lean team

About You
• Background in Transaction Services/Corporate Finance (Top10 or leading advisory firm)
• Strong M&A execution experience, including valuation and modelling
• Experience in or Exposure to PE-backed environments
• Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management skills

This is a rare ‘in house’ opportunity well suited to a technically strong ACA Qualified candidate with extensive TS /CF experience who has the self-motivation and gravitas to lead and deliver M&A strategy in an leading PE backed business with hugely ambitious future plans.
