Are you an experienced paraplanner ready to step into leadership — or an established Team Leader looking for a bigger platform?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking financial planning business where paraplanning is seen as a critical driver of client outcomes and technical excellence.

With the team expanding from 7 to 12 paraplanners, you’ll play a key role in shaping the function, developing talent, and driving high standards across the board.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day leadership of the paraplanning team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and timely technical support to advisers and clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role — combining people management, technical oversight, and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of paraplanners
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires as the team scales
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure delivery of accurate suitability reports and technical work within SLA.docx&action=default&mobileredirect=true)
  • Monitor workloads, productivity, and quality across the team
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex cases

Technical & Compliance Excellence

  • Provide guidance on complex financial planning scenarios
  • Maintain consistently high levels of technical accuracy

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and deliver process improvements and efficiencies
  • Enhance workflows and leverage technology to improve output
  • Contribute to wider business and departmental initiatives

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with advisers, compliance, and leadership teams
  • Support the delivery of excellent client outcomes across the business

What We’re Looking For

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).docx&action=default&mobileredirect=true)

Strong experience within paraplanning (senior level or leadership)

Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments & protection

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop others

Strong understanding of compliance and suitability standards
