Protocol Education are looking for a resilient and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEMH setting close to the North Kirklees and Calderdale area. This role is ideal for someone who understands the challenges young people can face around emotional regulation, trust, and engagement, and knows how to build relationships that genuinely change lives.
This isn't about perfection. It's about progress, connection, and creating a classroom where pupils feel safe enough to learn again.
The RoleYou'll work with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, many of whom may also have secondary diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, and perhaps trauma-related needs, or experience barriers to mainstream education.
