Newstaff Employment Services is looking for an experienced Counterbalance Driver based in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves safely operating counterbalance forklifts within our warehouse to transport, load, and stack goods efficiently. • Operate counterbalance forklifts to move stock accurately and safely within the warehouse.
• Carry out daily safety checks and maintenance reports on the forklift.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch, maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock inventory and warehouse cleanliness.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (company in-house licenses may not be accepted).
• Previous experience working as a counterbalance driver in a warehouse or distribution centre.
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety standards and warehouse operations.
• Good organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake additional duties as required.
