The Role

Joining an established finance team, you will play an important part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting monthly account statements from stock suppliers and chasing any missing documentation
• Matching invoices and credit notes against supplier statements to ensure accuracy
• Raising query sheets for any invoices that are disputed or incorrect
• Reconciling supplier statements with internal records and preparing payment runs
• Supporting the Finance Manager with cash postings and general administration
• Handling incoming supplier calls and directing queries to the right teams

About You

You will hold a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline and be ready to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting. You will also be:

• Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
• A confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Proactive, eager to learn and keen to develop
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
• Solid in your understanding of core accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
