Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to support our clients finance team. The successful candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The Assistant Accountant will play a vital part in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting reporting functions.

Duties

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software
• Support accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments;
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports;
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information;
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities;
• Maintain organised records of transactions and correspondence related to financial. activities

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software;
• High attention to detail;
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general ledger management;
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is advantageous;
• Ability to work efficiently with multiple IT platforms;
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively;
