Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: London (hybrid - 2-3 days in the office)

Robert Half is partnering with a global mining and commodities business to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner into its UK team. This is a high-profile, commercially focused role within a complex, international environment, supporting senior stakeholders across sales and trading.

This is a replacement hire, offering strong visibility, autonomy and the opportunity to operate at the heart of a global natural resources organisation.

The Role

• Act as the senior finance partner to UK-based commercial stakeholders, particularly sales and trading
• Own budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, including budget vs actuals
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to support decision-making
• Deliver IFRS-aligned reporting within a global finance structure
• Support month-end and group reporting processes
• Work closely with an international finance team across the UK, Asia and Southern Africa
• Opportunity to take on line management responsibility over time

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA qualified, trained in practice, with 3-5 years' post-qualified experience in industry
• Strong grounding in IFRS reporting working within the group function
• Proven experience partnering with commercial stakeholders
• Comfortable operating autonomously in a senior, business-facing role
• Exposure to commodities, mining or a complex global environment is advantageous but not essential
