Client Account Manager | Coventry | £30-35k | Hybrid

This opportunity is ideal for an established Accountant looking to step into a more client-facing role with increased responsibility and clear progression.

The Role

• Support the management of a portfolio of clients including limited companies and sole traders
• Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, building strong working relationships
• Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns
• Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
• Review bookkeeping work and ensure accuracy
• Work closely within a pod structure alongside senior management
• Help coordinate workflow and meet client deadlines
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Gain exposure to advisory and tax planning work

• Xero (essential, regular use)
• Dext
• TaxCalc
• Cloud-based accounts preparation tools

About You

• 3-5 years' experience within an accountancy practice
• ACCA / ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
• Strong working knowledge of cloud-based accounting tools
• Confident communicator with good written and verbal English
• Organised, proactive, and keen to take ownership of your work
• Looking to progress into a Client Manager role
