Recruit UK is partnering with a well-established, independent wealth management firm in Chorley to find a Trainee Financial Adviser. This firm is committed to making financial planning accessible and meaningful, helping clients live confidently without financial stress.

You’ll benefit from a structured training programme designed to support your transition into a fully qualified adviser. With ongoing guidance and mentorship, you’ll be given the tools and confidence to succeed in your new role.

Responsibilities

· Meet with clients (often alongside a senior adviser) to understand their financial goals and circumstances

· Provide basic financial advice on pensions, investments, and protection products

· Review existing client portfolios and suggest adjustments where appropriate

· Prepare and present suitability reports and recommendations

· Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and handle queries

· Liaise with providers (e.g., Aviva, Standard Life) to implement advice

· Ensure all advice and processes comply with Financial Conduct Authority regulations

· Monitor client portfolios and assist with regular reviews

· Generate new business through referrals, leads, or networking

· Keep accurate client records and update CRM systems

About You

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or close to completion)
  • Motivated and driven to build a successful advisory career
  • Previous financial services experience (desirable, not essential)
  • Background in sales or customer-facing roles preferred
