Are you a passionate and experienced Science Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in a specialist setting?
We are seeking a committed and nurturing teacher to join a small, highly supportive provision from September. This role is available due to the expansion of the Science timetable alongside internal promotion, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape and grow the subject within a developing setting.
The Role - Deliver Science across a mixed curriculum (Entry Level to GCSE)
- Teach small classes of up to 9 pupils, supported by additional staff
- Work closely and exclusively with a dedicated consultant throughout the process
- Contribute to curriculum development and forward planning within Science
- Provide a trauma-informed, nurturing learning environment
This is a part-time position (3 days per week), with complete flexibility around which days are worked.

The Ideal Candidate Will: - Be a qualified and experienced Science Teacher
- Have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Be confident working with pupils with Autism and SEMH
- Be highly organised and a forward planner
- Have a nurturing, patient and adaptable teaching style
- Ideally have experience in curriculum development
The Process We are looking to move quickly to secure the right candidate:
- Initial visit to the setting and meeting with the Headteacher (ASAP)
- Formal interview including a lesson observation
