Commercial Finance Lead - Global PE-backed Professional Services

Location: Bristol (2 days in office)

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + bonus

We are partnering with a dynamic, PE-backed professional services business on the appointment of a Commercial Finance Lead. Backed by a leading mid-market private equity fund, this c.£100m turnover organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

This role offers a blend of hands-on commercial finance responsibility and strategic exposure, making it well-suited to an individual looking to step into a broader, more visible position within a high-growth environment.

The Role

This is a commercially focused position with significant exposure to senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting business performance through high-quality analysis, insight, and business partnering, while helping to embed a stronger commercial mindset across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting FP&A and commercial finance activities across the group
• Delivering insightful analysis to drive business performance and decision-making
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to influence and provide constructive challenge
• Coaching and supporting non-finance stakeholders to improve commercial understanding
• Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Operating within a complex, multi-entity structure, gaining exposure to group-level dynamics

About You

We are looking for a high-calibre finance professional with a strong foundation in both technical accounting and commercial finance, who is ready to take on a broader, more impactful role.

Key requirements:

• Ideally ACA qualified, trained within a Big Four firm, ACCA/CIMA will also be reviewed
• Experience across multiple industry roles within FP&A and/or commercial finance
• Strong analytical capability combined with commercial acumen
• Confidence to engage with and constructively challenge stakeholders
• Experience working in complex, multi-entity or international environments
• Ambition to operate in a PE-backed, fast-paced setting
