Cook - Portsmouth - Weekly Pay
£15.00ph + double time on Bank Holidays and treble time on Christmas Day.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Cook in Portsmouth working Monday to Friday, 12.30pm-6.30pm (30 hours per week). As a Cook, you'll be joining a supportive environment where you can make a real difference by delivering high-quality, nutritious meals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef looking for stable weekday hours and long-term potential in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving nutritious daily meals
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Managing stock, food orders, and kitchen supplies
• Catering for dietary and cultural requirements
• Working within budget and following strict health & safety regulations
• Confidently managing the kitchen during lone working shifts

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this Cook role, you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS certificate (essential)
• Previous catering or Chef experience
• Food Hygiene Certificate and Allergen Certificate
• Ability to work under pressure and self-motivate
• Experience working independently or in lone working environments
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries (desirable)
