An excellent opportunity has arisen with a growing boutique wealth management firm for an ambitious Paraplanner seeking a clear and structured pathway into a client-facing Financial Planner role.
This position is ideally suited to an individual who is technically strong, commercially minded and looking to progress into advising within a highly supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside experienced Financial Planners within a collaborative adviser pod structure, attending client meetings, supporting complex financial planning cases and gradually transitioning into a Junior Financial Planner role over time.
This is a genuine long-term development opportunity, with clients intended to be passed across progressively over approximately 12–18 months depending on performance, competency and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection
- Supporting advisers with financial planning strategies
- Preparing for and attending client meetings
- Maintaining compliant client records and documentation
- Liaising with providers and platforms
- Producing cashflow modelling and financial analysis
- Supporting ongoing client servicing and annual reviews
Candidate Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Current paraplanning or technical financial planning experience
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
- Experience operating within an FCA regulated environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine ambition to progress into a Financial Adviser role
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset
Desirable:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (completed or in progress)
- Previous exposure to client meetings
