About the Role:

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, assisting across a broad range of accounting tasks and ensuring financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Raising sales invoices and monitoring customer payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Assisting with bank reconciliations
• Processing staff expenses and petty cash
• Supporting credit control activities where required
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
• Handling finance queries from suppliers, customers, and internal departments
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Good understanding of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
