We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our very well established client in Bishops Stortford as a Lab Assistant.

The Role-

• Maintain and update stock
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices
• To accurately dispense materials in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required
• To maintain the stock library in a neat & tidy manner in order that contamination can be prevented.
• To transfer finished samples to agreed deadlines to project initiator according to quality guidelines.
• To liaise with the project initiators on any issues that may delay sample deadlines.
• To help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables jars bottles etc.

The Person-

• Good communication at all levels
• Olfactory capabilities.
• Good computer literacy.
• Good time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work under pressure, in a team or as an individual
• Methodical and precise working practices
• Keen eye for detail

The role is a full time position Monday-Friday 8.45-5pm
