Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mixer & Siever to join our food production team. This role involves preparing ingredients by mixing and sieving to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong understanding of food safety protocols. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic food manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the mixing process and correct recipe is being followed, the correct amounts and ingredients
• To follow the sieving procedure and fill out the sieving/mixing sheets. Report to their line leader if any foreign bodies are found or if any of the boxes/bags are damaged
• Ensuring that all work is done safely and that the local area to the operative is always clean in line with “Clean as you Go Policy”
• Following job specific tasks and roles as set out in SOP’s and work instructions.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety assessments are considered when working and that all preventative measures are adhered to.
• All relevant paperwork to be completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Participation in all product clean downs
• To ensure that the site HACCP plan is followed in any role undertaken
• To be able to work on various sections throughout the factory as and when required
• Maintain a good standard of cleanliness throughout the factory
• Follow company policies and procedures. Compliance with HACCP/GMP. Checking and compliance of all Process Control documents, Safety Checks. Referring any issues to the Supervisor.
• Working closely with the team and other departments to ensure reports and handovers are effective
• Adhering to shift start/finish times and break entitlements
• All other duties as allocated by the supervisor/manager
• Day and Night Shift Available
• 12 Hour Shifts
