GRS - Global Recruitment Solutions

The Opportunity

On behalf of a global leader in the art-shipping world, we are seeking a dynamic Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager to join a "crossbreed" logistics and tech firm. The Role

You will be responsible for identifying efficiency strategies, maintaining high security standards, and representing the brand at prestigious galleries, auction houses, and museums.

Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Location: Waltham Abbey (with occasional travel across the UK and Europe)

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the technician team, taking full responsibility for all packing, crating, and art handling operations
  • Operational Excellence: Identify and resolve project-related issues, variances, and contingencies while continuously improving warehouse systems and procedures
  • Inventory & Supply Chain: Manage warehouse stock and equipment, monitor packing material levels, and review supplier comparisons alongside the Director
  • Training & Development: Document and deliver training for staff on manual handling, forklift use, tool training, and fine art installation
  • Logistics & Security: Oversee company vehicle maintenance and safety checks; ensure the absolute security of cargo, premises, and confidential client information at all times
  • Relationship Management: Act as a key point of contact for auction houses and galleries, building strong networks during on-site client projects
What You Bring
  • Experience: Essential experience in warehouse or production management, with the proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Logistics Skills: Confidence in driving vehicles up to 3.5T Luton Vans and a comfort level with inventory management and reconciling quotes
  • Specialist Knowledge: While experience with fine art or luxury goods is desired, it is not essential; however, a meticulous approach to professional handling is required
  • Communication: A professional, client-facing demeanor suitable for engaging with high-net-worth individuals
  • Technical Literacy: Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, and the wider Microsoft Office suite
