£12.81ph per hour

We are now recruiting for a Production Operative to join a fantastic manufacturing company based in central Crediton. You will join a team that specialise in confectionary products and distribute throughout the UK.

Working within their production department, you will be joining a department which is key in the supply chain of their produce ready for dispatch. The role does demand accuracy, accountability and reliability with a key eye for attention.

The role of a Production Operative is varied with duties including:

• Manufacturing confectionery products using traditional methods
• Following written instructions
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packed
• Reporting any damaged / defective products
• Working to packing deadlines
• Closely working between production, packing and despatch departments
• Operating equipment/machinery
• Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard
• Manual Handling/ Heavy lifting will be required

Production Operative Requirements:

• Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently
• Positive can-do attitude
• Works hard to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Able to reliably get to site for shift times

Working hours and pay rates:

• Mon-Thu 07:30 – 16:00, Fri 07:30 – 15:00
• £12.81ph per hour
