An established and fast-growing Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm is looking to recruit an

experienced Audit Senior to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team in the South region.

Your role as an Audit Senior:

As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with Managers and Partners while supporting and mentoring junior team members.

• Leading on-site audit fieldwork and substantive testing.
• Planning and completing audit assignments.
• Preparing statutory financial statements from client records.
• Identifying risk areas and reporting findings to Managers and Partners.
• Reviewing audit files to ensure high-quality documentation.
• Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior staff.
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Assisting with the finalisation of audits for Partner review.

What you'll need to succeed:

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or a finalist).
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice audit role.
• Strong knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is advantageous.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
