Finance Manager

• Location: Deeside – Offers hybrid working pattern
• Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus & benefits

Join a market-leading Technology business as a Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-impact Transactional Finance function that supports the entire business. This position is ideal for those making their first move from Practice, seeking a broader role where they can transition into an Industry based role and add real value through best practice.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and manage aspects of the Transactional Finance team, covering Management Accounts, Performance Reporting, and Payables/Receivables.
• Own and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Streamline processes and strengthen controls.
• Engage in statutory and technical reporting, including spearheading new initiatives.
• Collaborate with various teams across the business to enhance performance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving or revenue-enhancing opportunities.
• Translate finance data into clear, actionable insights.
• Coach and develop a team of skilled finance professionals.
• Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to maintain a high-performing team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Ideally first-time mover from Practice with a strong focus on Audit (ideally Audit Manager level)
• Solid experience in financial and tax reporting (IFRS, UK GAAP, Corporate Tax, VAT, PAYE).
• Proven track record of managing group year-end reporting and audit processes.
• Ability to analyse complex accounting issues and communicate them effectively.
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
