We’re currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor (Out of Hours) to join a busy and rewarding Corporate Hub team based in Lincoln.

Location: Customer Service Centre, Lancaster House, Lincoln (LN1)

Contract: 20 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours:

Core hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 17:30 – 08:00
  • Friday – Monday: 17:30 – 08:00

This is an out-of-hours role requiring flexibility, including overnight shifts (12:00am – 8:00am), evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

About the Role:

You’ll act as the first point of contact for a wide range of essential services, including Adult and Children’s Social Care. This involves handling emergency and sensitive calls from both professionals (such as Police and Health Services) and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle sensitive and urgent calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Accurately gather and process information
  • Support a variety of council services
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows
