Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator on behalf of our valued client, based in Ashford. This Customer Service Coordinator opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.

About the Role:

  • Coordinating customer enquiries and service requests within a recycling and environmental services setting
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal operational teams
  • Scheduling collections, updating service records, and ensuring data is accurately logged on internal systems
  • Supporting reporting requirements and resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally
  • Delivering a consistently high level of customer service while managing a varied and reactive workload

About You:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, coordination, or call-handling role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a calm and solutions-focused approach
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM or booking systems
  • Proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing competing priorities

Salary & Working Pattern:

  • £25,000 – £27,500 per annum
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Hybrid working available following successful probation
