£32,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

REED Education are delighted to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated “Outstanding” secondary school in Stevenage to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential). You will join a committed department that values creativity, high expectations, and professional development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – preferred but not essential
• Unqualified teachers with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• A passion for English and the ability to motivate and engage students
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
