Location: St Albans

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Company:

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality financial planning services to a diverse client base. The business prides itself on its professional yet supportive culture, where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and progress within the financial planning profession.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide full administrative support to financial advisers and paraplanners
  • Process new business applications across pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Liaise with providers and platforms for policy information and updates
  • Prepare client review packs, valuations, and meeting documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records using CRM and back-office systems
  • Monitor and progress outstanding business to meet service standards and deadlines
  • Support the implementation of financial planning recommendations
  • Handle client and provider queries professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a Financial Services Administrator or IFA support role
  • Strong understanding of financial products including pensions, investments, and protection
  • Experience using financial platforms and provider systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience within an IFA or wealth management environment
  • Familiarity with IO back-office systems
  • Understanding of FCA compliance requirements
  • Exposure to client review processes and financial planning documentation
