About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and enthusiastic Registered Manager to lead our children’s home. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, compassionate leadership and lead by example in all aspects of care and practice
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain a positive, child-focused culture that promotes wellbeing, resilience, and growth
  • Support, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding care
  • Build effective relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the service

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in managing within a children’s residential setting
  • A natural leader who leads with integrity, empathy, and professionalism
  • Creative in their approach to problem-solving and care delivery
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
  • Kind, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children
  • Confident in managing teams and fostering a positive working environment

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in childcare or social care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
