My market leading, Runcorn based client are looking to recruit an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver / General Operative on a temporary basis for approx. 1-2 months, to start immediately. The successful candidate potentially may secure the role on a permanent basis should the temporary assignment prove successful.

• Pay: £12.71 per hour
• Location: Runcorn
• Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00 

Overview

The successful candidate will be a reliable and adaptable individual as you will support both FLT driving responsibilities and general warehouse-based tasks. This position suits someone who is hands-on, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently in line with site procedures.
• Carry out manual handling duties, including lifting and moving items weighing approximately 20kg.
• Accurately organise correct quantities of items in preparation for loading
• Load and unload items ready for transportation and return to stock.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, including adherence to manual handling guidelines.
• Support general warehouse and yard operations as required.

Requirements

• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willing to learn new tasks and follow clear instructions.
