Pay: £95 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors and Pastoral Support staff to work within secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent.
Schools are increasingly looking for resilient and adaptable individuals who can support students with behaviour, engagement, attendance, emotional regulation, and pastoral needs.
These opportunities are ideal for individuals with backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, residential care, mentoring, SEN support, safeguarding, or behaviour support.
Your RoleSupport students with behaviour and emotional regulation
Build positive and professional relationships with pupils
Work alongside pastoral and inclusion teams
Support engagement both inside and outside the classroom
Promote positive routines, structure and behaviour expectations
Assist with intervention and mentoring support
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Calm, resilient and adaptable individuals
Experience supporting young people desirable
Ability to manage challenging behaviour professionally
Passion for supporting vulnerable learners
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
