Management Accountant | Outskirts of Maidstone / Hybrid | Paying £45k - £50k DOE

Cobb & Jones are pleased to be working with a well-established, industry leading, organisation to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on role and wants to play a key part in supporting business performance through high-quality financial insight.

The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management information, partnering with key stakeholders across the business, and ensuring strong financial controls are in place. This is a varied position that combines reporting, analysis, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts
• Providing clear commentary and analysis on performance vs budget, forecast, and prior year
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Maintaining strong balance sheet controls and reconciliations
• Identifying and driving process improvements across finance and the wider business
• Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial controls
• Acting as a key finance contact for operational and commercial stakeholders

About You:

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insight
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
