Customer Service Advisor – Tyseley, Birmingham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our well-established client based in Tyseley, Birmingham, on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys a varied role combining customer interaction, administration, and creative input.

This role would suit applicants who have worked in a previous role as a Customer Service Representative, Sales Support Advisor or Contact Centre Advisor.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm
• 37.5 hours per week

Salary

• £25,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Customer Service Advisor, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Handling inbound and outbound customer calls and enquiries
• Processing customer orders and updating internal systems
• Uploading products onto the company website
• Supporting with basic product descriptions and listings
• Assisting with basic graphic design tasks for products and marketing materials
• Maintaining accurate customer records and order details
• Providing excellent customer service at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will be able to:

• Demonstrate previous experience within a customer service or office-based role
• Communicate confidently in both written and verbal formats
• Use IT systems effectively, including Microsoft Office
• Show strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment

Desired (but Not Essential)

• Experience uploading products to websites or e-commerce platforms
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, or similar)

Training Provided

• Full training will be provided, with ongoing support throughout your placement
