Temporary Customer Service Administrator – Wigan
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Administrator to join our well-established client based in Wigan.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work through until September, full training and the opportunity to join a busy and supportive warehouse and logistics operation.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Customer Service Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Sales Support Administrator, Account Coordinator or Transport Administrator.
Rates of Pay:
• £14.00 per hour
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 16:30
Contract Length:
• Ongoing until September
• Please note annual leave cannot be taken during this assignment period

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Temporary Customer Service Administrator, your duties will include:
• Processing and preparing daily order documentation for picking, dispatch and delivery
• Managing incoming and outgoing emails to ensure timely and accurate communication
• Maintaining accurate and organised records and documentation
• Monitoring short-term order changes and communicating updates to warehouse, transport and logistics teams
• Acting as a key point of contact for existing customers
• Handling incoming calls relating to orders, queries, complaints and returns
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Liaising with transport, warehouse and buying departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly
• Providing professional and responsive customer support at all times
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Temporary Customer Service Administrator you will need:
• Previous experience within warehouse administration, logistics administration, customer service or sales support
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Ability to manage both administration and customer-facing responsibilities
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
Training Provided:
• Full systems and site training provided upon starting
• Ongoing support throughout the assignment
