Commercial Manager (Sales & Lettings)

Employed Package:

  • Basic salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
  • On-target earnings: £50,000 – £55,000+ (uncapped)

Location: Braintree, Essex

We are proud to be partnering with a highly regarded independent estate agency based in Braintree, Essex, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Estate Agent/Lettings professional (minimum 2 years’ commercial property experience) to step into a Commercial Manager role.

This is a pivotal position overseeing the sales and lettings of a diverse commercial portfolio across Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, maximising revenue, and delivering an exceptional level of client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the sales and lettings of a varied commercial property portfolio
  • Carry out property valuations and secure new instructions to market
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximise exposure, occupancy, and profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, buyers, and investors
  • Provide expert market insight, including pricing strategies and rent reviews
  • Oversee all marketing activity across digital and traditional channels
  • Manage lease negotiations ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance


Package & Structure

Three flexible options available:

  • Self-employed package (to be discussed at interview)
  • Fully employed structure (details below)
  • Employed initially, with transition to self-employed once pipeline is established

About You

  • Proven experience in commercial property sales and/or lettings
  • Strong understanding of the Essex commercial property market
  • Confident negotiator with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
