A friendly and welcoming primary school in Pimlico is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified HLTA looking for a varied role that combines classroom support with the opportunity to take on whole-class teaching responsibilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role across the school, delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence, supporting pupil progress and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Role:

• Full-time HLTA position
• September start
• Long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent role
• Deliver whole-class teaching across different year groups when required
• Support teaching and learning across the school
• Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions
• Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to raise pupil attainment
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• HLTA qualification - essential
• Previous experience working within UK primary schools
• Confidence delivering lessons and leading whole-class teaching
• Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
