Job Title: Assistant Accountant / Finance Analyst
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)
Salary: c.£32,000 - £38,000
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a growing and fast paced business to recruit a Assistant Accountant / Finance Analyst to join their commercial finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail driven finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and wants to play a key role in managing financial risk and improving business performance.

This position will focus on managing stakeholder relationships from a financial perspective, ensuring accurate commission payments, reducing financial exposure, and providing valuable insight to the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Identifying overpayments and financial exposure
• Performing contract reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Supporting the reduction of balance sheet risk
• Producing high quality reporting and analysis to support decision making
• Investigating and explaining monthly variances
• Working closely with Sales and wider teams to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Supporting the development and maintenance of provision models

About You

• Experience within a finance role (Accounts, Analyst, or Assistant Accountant level)
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Experience of reconciliations and investigating variances
• Confident communicator, able to work with non finance stakeholders
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
