Join a busy and supportive mainstream primary school as a Primary Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, caring, and enjoys working with children, offering a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting their progress and development within the classroom.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support the teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to support learning.
• Assist pupils with reading, writing, and numeracy tasks.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Help set up and maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in schools, clubs, or childcare settings.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and approachable personality.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Proactive and willing to support across different year groups.
• Passion for helping children succeed.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Knowledge of phonics or early years learning.
• Relevant childcare or education qualification.
