Job Title: People Business Partner

Location: EMEA (Fully Remote)

Salary: Dependent on experience

My client is seeking a commercially minded and highly capablePeople Business Partner to join a fast-paced, high-growth organisation operating across EMEA. This is not a traditional HRBP or employee relations role, this position is suited to someone who can confidently lead on complex, multi-country people matters and then proactively build scalable solutions to prevent recurrence.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, bringing strong judgement, a challenge mindset, and the ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, multi-country employee relations cases end-to-end
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based guidance across multiple jurisdictions
• Make confident decisions without over-reliance on external legal counsel
• Partner with business leaders to address people challenges in a commercially effective way
• Identify trends from ER cases and design scalable processes to mitigate future risk
• Build and implement frameworks, policies, and tools to support a growing workforce
• Operate comfortably across different cultural and legal landscapes within EMEA
• Contribute to the development of a high-performing, resilient people function
• Challenge stakeholders constructively to drive better business and people outcomes

Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience managing multi-country employee relations cases (essential)
• Strong exposure to working outside of a single “home” jurisdiction
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions independently, without defaulting to legal support
• Experience working in a scale-up, high-growth, or tech environment
• Strong judgement with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
• Deep understanding of employment practices across EMEA
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to build scalable people solutions from complex situations
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
