We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced Freight operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is looking to develop their career within a growing and dynamic environment.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. You will be responsible for handling materials, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods using manual handling techniques and equipment (forklift driving)
• Accurately managing inventory using warehouse management systems
• Organising and storing goods safely within the warehouse
• Supporting shipping and receiving processes, including documentation checks
• Carrying out regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting wider warehouse operations as required
• Adhering to CAA security procedures and handling regulated cargo

About You

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred (training provided)
• Forklift (Counterbalance) licence
• Good understanding of shipping and receiving processes
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg+
• Basic maths skills for stock control
• Awareness of warehouse health & safety practices
