Reed Accountancy is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join a well-established and growing organisation in Diss. This full-time, office-based position is perfect for someone with payroll experience looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and professional team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Process weekly payroll, including hours, overtime, and expenses.
  • Administer starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Manage statutory payments.
  • Maintain holiday and absence records.
  • Prepare and submit pension contributions.
  • Respond promptly to employee payroll queries.
  • Produce regular payroll and absence reports.
  • Prepare pension reports and employee communications.
  • Assist with payroll audits and provide data as required.
  • Respond to queries from external stakeholders, such as pension providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a payroll or payroll administration role.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A team player with a proactive and confidential approach.
  • Willingness to learn and develop, with opportunities for further training.
