A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Baildon is seeking an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join its busy and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional looking to work within a modern practice environment, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Use of cloud and desktop accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
• Assisting senior accountants with client work
• Liaising directly with clients as required
• Payroll experience would be highly advantageous

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment preferred
• Industry experience will also be considered where relevant
• Experience using at least one accounting software package such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and hands-on approach
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Training can be provided on software packages where needed.
