An entrepreneurial and fast-growing investment reporting firm is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its expanding investment reporting function. This is a senior, hands-on role offering the opportunity to play a key part in shaping a high-quality service for sophisticated clients, while contributing to the firm's strategic growth plans.


The Opportunity


The business supports family offices and high-net-worth individuals, providing consolidated investment reporting across complex, multi-asset portfolios via a secure online platform. With over $5bn in assets under administration and ambitious growth plans, this role offers significant exposure, responsibility and progression.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a small but growing team and take full ownership of client reporting delivery, operational excellence and client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full accountability for the delivery and quality of all client investment reporting
  • Oversight of the accuracy, integrity and ongoing maintenance of client portfolios
  • Leadership and development of the investment reporting / fund accounting team
  • Allocation and prioritisation of work, including weekly and monthly team leadership
  • Ownership of client onboarding and implementation of new portfolios
  • Timely resolution of client queries with a strong service mindset
  • Production and delivery of service level and activity reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement of processes, efficiencies and service standards in collaboration with operations
  • Contribution to business growth initiatives including strategy, recruitment and business development
  • Supporting senior colleagues with presentations and pitches to prospective clients


Candidate Profile

  • ACA qualified accountant (Big 4 background essential)
  • Ideally 5+ years' post-qualification experience in fund accounting, investment reporting or a related environment
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investments and wealth management structures
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-asset investment portfolios
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Strong academic background; degree in Finance, Economics or Business preferred
  • High attention to detail, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English required
