Night Shift Leader – Care Home (Veterans Community)

We’re recruiting a compassionate and experienced Night Shift Leader to join a specialist care home supporting veterans and their partners. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, providing high-quality care within a respectful and values-driven environment.

Working nights, you’ll lead the care team to ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and supported. You’ll oversee the delivery of person-centred care, respond to overnight needs, and maintain a calm, well-run service.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support the care team throughout night shifts
• Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred care
• Administer medication and carry out clinical tasks (training provided)
• Monitor resident wellbeing and respond to any overnight concerns
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and clear handovers

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in elderly or residential care
• Previous senior or leadership experience
• A calm, organised and proactive approach
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• A genuine passion for supporting veterans and their families
