The Role

An opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a national law firm in Birmingham. The role offers a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising mainly employer clients, with strong client exposure and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on employment and HR matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and discrimination issues
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception to hearing
  • Drafting contracts of employment, policies, and settlement agreements
  • Providing employment support on corporate and transactional matters
  • Contributing to business development and client-facing initiatives

About You

  • 4+ years’ PQE in employment law
  • Experience handling Tribunal matters and employer advisory work
  • Strong drafting, organisational, and client relationship skills
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach with an interest in developing practice
